KEY ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Our client is a leader in sanitary tapware and kitchen, showers and sanitary systems.The Key Account executive is responsible for delivering increased sales results in Senegal through project and specification demand generation.
Accountabilities
- Work with all relevant departments to define and deliver the “tools” required both by direct and indirect customers to enhance and differentiate service and support to project sales to deliver increased sales result
- Drive the company' specifications process in all the main consultants offices
- Project management – write and maintain project specifications within the company's project system
- Ensure progressive product specification difficult to break by the competition
- Product update for project customers
- Frequently visit consultants, interiors, and promote the company via building a strong network of professional influencers and decision-makers
- Support distribution channels
- Forecast accurate projects sales by month, quarter and year
- Measure all aspects of project business – i.e. new, converted, lost , margin, by product, by customer etc.
- Measure and analyse critical success factors for best practice and implement improvement processes
- Develop and maintain data base / records of all key project contacts in region as required and prepare report for the Project Manager
- Deal with escalated customer issues as assigned
- Consult on sales process and best practices
- Communicate and interact daily with the customers
- Train and develop the customer’s personnel
- Keep correct and up-to-date customers database (classification) on CRM
- Develop and execute promotional campaigns in retail and wholesale distribution channel
- Supervise and monitor competition activities in terms of their price positioning, products and promotions
- Secure the proper geographical distribution of the OTCs and Showrooms
- Market monitoring and building market intelligence in order to provide detailed analytical reports
- Work with all relevant departments to define and deliver the “tools” required both by direct and indirect customers to enhance and differentiate service and support to project sales to deliver increased sales result
- Gather competitor market intelligence and report through product marketing and group market intelligence
- Operate within budgets and guidelines at all times
- Identify marketing / specification events to maximize exposure and new business opportunities and explore / reports on events
- Assist the Project Manager with various projects or duties as and when required
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 4-5 years of experience in a comparable position
- Bachelor degree in business administration or engineering, MBA (is a plus)
- Deep knowledge of the region (Project)
- Business fluent English (oral & written) French is plus
