Role summary
This role will be responsible for signing up and acquiring new healthcare providers to join a health insurance provider network in Senegal, maintaining provider relationships and following up on the provider performance.Job responsbilities
- Sign up healthcare providers in Senegal to be part of our health insurance provider network.
- Manage negotiation of tariffs and conclusion of contracts with providers.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining processes and systems to provide routine services to members including contract management and credentialing.
- Hire, train, and measure performance of staff to provide effective and operations within budget.
- Involved with the design and operations of database systems used to manage provider data and produce reports.
- Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
- Give input into developing the budget.
- Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
Requirements
- At least 7+ years’ experience including solid experience in a similar role within Healthcare & Insurance
- Similar role in a healthcare company/medical insurance company as a provider acquisition for at least 7+ year
- Ability to use data to drive decision making and problem solving
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Bilingual in French and English
