General accounting & tax officer
Mission
Perform the activities of preparing, recording and controlling the accounting information in accordance with the guidelines of the immediate supervisor to assure correct reflection of economic operations.Main tasks
- Post the general ledger and cash accounting entries, thereby compensating according to the type of payment/collection to ensure that the accounting reflects the economic operations.
- Prepare and pay the various taxes and social security payments, ensuring correct credit of the same in all managed companies.
- Prepare and control the inter-company invoices and accounts to adjust the internal billing situation of services between the companies.
- Control the account balances of customers/suppliers to ensure the correct status thereof.
- Handle inquiries from internal and external customers regarding the billing generated and guarantee the validity of the information.
Expected skills/knowledge
- Experience with SAP or any accounting software
- Strong skills in working with expenses, accounting and ability to reconcile accounts
- Must be a strong team player, highly motivated and able to work under pressure during peak periods
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
