Tasks
- To coordinate and ensure the short-, medium- and long-term effectiveness of all operational departments within the Group;
- Define the Group's global and coherent strategy;
- Supervise its execution in order to achieve the Group's profitability targets;
- Adapting the Group's orientations in line with market demand, vision and requirements.
Activities
Management of financial resources
- Defining financial policy, monitoring its implementation and interpreting variances;
- Supervises accounting and the preparation of the parent company and consolidated financial statements, ensuring their conformity and reliability;
- Manage cash (outstanding payments, receivables, financing, overpayments), investments and relations with banks;
- Supervising management control: planning, budgeting, reporting;
- Tax: ensuring that taxes and contributions to which the Group is subject are regularly declared, paid or repaid in accordance with the official tax and social security schedule;
- Customs: take appropriate internal measures to reduce the risk of tax adjustments.
Management of material resources & supply chain
- Works with the Operations Department to define the logistical and material resources needed to run the Group;
- Supply chain management;
- Planning and procurement - Logistics - Logistics operations and infrastructure - Industrial processes.
Human resources management
- Participating in staff recruitment;
- Defining key performance indicators for operational managers;
- Leading the management team.
- Sales and Marketing Strategy
- Defines and monitors the implementation of a coherent marketing mix;
- Validates sales targets and the annual marketing plan;
- Coordinate actions to ensure targets are met;
- Building loyalty and monitoring key account customers;
- Assessing the scope of all communication activities prior to implementation;
- Oversee the definition of the distribution strategy and ensure its implementation.
Quality, Risk, Audit and Internal Control
- Drawing up risk maps and formulating proposals to manage them;
- Validating procedures and monitoring their implementation;
- Guaranteeing the effectiveness of the internal control system;
- Putting in place an a posteriori control system;
- Ensuring the protection of people and property;
- Coordinating all phases of the audit;
- Assessing the relevance of the auditors' recommendations before they are implemented.
- Group Organisation and Financing
- Propose a charter defining the Group's external financing conditions (Equities - Bonds);
- Participate in defining the Group's financial resources management policy;
- Propose an organisational structure suited to the Group;
- Ensuring the standardisation of practices within the Group;
- Oversee the overall assessment process for the Group's employees.
Technical skills
- Knowledge of accounting regulations;
- Knowledge of the basic rules of social legislation;
- Knowledge of the administrative and financial functioning of an industry;
- Know how to apply regulations;
- Know how to use specific software (SAGE SAARI, SAARI, etc.);
- Seek out information and apply it;
- Be rigorous and methodical, available at peak times;
- Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite
- General and cost accounting, operational management control;
