VAS SALES MANAGER
Our client is a global player in telecommunications solutions for telephone operators. The VAS Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and managing the company's portfolio of value-added services, based on market requirements and technological capabilities. He/she is responsible for meeting annual revenue and product performance targets and ensuring that the company is competitive in this area.
JOB RESPONSABILITIES
Accountabilities:
- Drives VAS delivery targets and Customizes the product as per the needs of clients and fosters the culture of customer satisfaction ;
- Establish long term action plan for VAS Sales strategy ;
- Negotiates and maintains standard agreements rates with clients for VAS activity ;
- Ensures accurate revenue and cost data is maintained for client ;
- Drives financial improvement plans of existing customers ;
- Negotiates and maintains standard agreements/rates with vendors /other service providers for VAS activities ;
- Knowledge and application of ISO norms ;
- Keen to perform other duties upon request and as deemed necessary.
- Achieves customer satisfaction on regular basis
- Ensures that strategic plans are successfully profitable and effectively implemented
- Keen to always provide a compromised and yet profitable agreement rate with clients
- Achieves customer retention successfully by always providing clear revenues and costs
- Ensures that profits are well gained on regular basis
- Sign the agreements successfully with vendors/providers
- Applies Company and his department policies, procedures and forms
- Accepts new tasks, challenges, projects, etc. and starts organizing his duties and time accordingly
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Educational Requirements:
- Holder of a University degree preferably in business, marketing
Knowledge, and Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience with local operators
- Strategically minded and innovative
- Strong Operational Understanding
- Analytical capabilities to determine direction for VAS products
- Commercial focus & Ability to take global view
- Ability to spot opportunities and convert them into business
Competencies Required:
- Energetic, proactive team player, target driven, initiative-taker and highly motivated
- Strong project co-ordination and cross-functional skill, able to interact with multiple stakeholders at all levels and comfortable working with Sales teams
- Strong analytical skills
- Internal: Contact with all the departments and employees within the company in all matters related to his/her duties
- External: Contact with the suppliers/ vendors and contractors (when applicable)
