SALES MANAGER
Our client is a leading global provider of environmental solutions. They develop solutions to protect the environment and ecosystems. As part of the expansion of their activities, we are looking for two Sales Managers in West Africa and East Africa.
For those considering the East Africa position, your base location is flexible, however, key consideration, in order of preference, will be given to; Uganda, Tanzania, Mozambique, South Africa, and Kenya
Duties:
The main objective of the Sale Manager is to maximize sales in the territory. He/she will therefore be responsible for:- Take orders in the region and maintain a sufficient margin level in closed orders (Key KPIs);
- Build a sales pipeline throughout the West / East African region respectively, or as directed, for all vertical services;
- Network, and promote our client as the service provider of choice;
- Respond to customer enquiries; level of customer service;
- Tailor value proposals to specific opportunities;
- Represent our client in the country/region for West / East Africa respectively and act as the face of the company;
- Contribute to the country strategy to develop the business based on the company strategy;
- Assist in the development of all proposals and tenders from the West / East African region respectively as directed;
- Undertake other commitments as specifically agreed between the parties.
Qualifications
- A broad commercial perspective and knowledge of the sector;
- An understanding of the client;
- Knowledge of the client's business;
- Sufficient knowledge of the company's products and services;
- Quantification and articulation of value, ability to influence;
- Experience in sales and contract documentation;
- Proven drive with excellent collaboration and networking skills;
- Creative thinking, problem solving and decision making skills;
- Good analytical, presentation and negotiation skills;
- Goal orientation and perseverance;
- Open-mindedness to learn new skills, good attitude for our growing company;
- A perfect command of the local language and sufficient command of English, spoken and written;
- A willingness and ability to travel.
